Ann Richardson is an artist, photographer, writer, and filmmaker who recently graduated with honors from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, receiving a BA in Film and Photography. Ann assisted with the caregiving of her mother as she integrated Parkinsons into her life, and since her death has continued to be involved in initiatives which support quality of life issues for individuals and their caregivers as they navigate new territories. Additionally, she tutors students who are learning English as their second language. Ann hopes the Dignitarian Foundation will provide a community where anyone who has been harmed, anyone who has witnessed harm, or anyone who has done harm, and envisions a shifting paradigm - where all are afforded dignity and respect - can flourish. Mary Lou Richardson is an editor, writer, and environmental educator who has taught at natural history museums and worked on numerous publications. She received a BA in Sociology and an MF in Forestry. With an awareness that women's contributions have often gone unnoticed and unappreciated, she published, with Ann Richardson, the newsletter Water on Stone: Women's Ways to Global Change, which gave visibility to women's unique qualities and the amazing work they are doing to better the world. She also assisted with the caregiving of her mother and has raised two children, while participating in school and other volunteer work. Mary Lou is committed to finding ways to give more recognition to more people. A member of the International Coach Federation Mary Lou has recently launched Bright Lights Coaching life coaching sevice. |
